FAQ

How many days do you need for Berlin?

Three days are enough for the main sights and one or two Kieze. With four days there is time for museums, Potsdam or a more relaxed pace.

Where is the best place to stay in Berlin?

For a first visit Mitte is practical because a lot is within walking distance. If you prefer somewhere livelier, choose Kreuzberg; Prenzlauer Berg is quieter.

Is Berlin expensive?

Compared with Munich, Vienna or Zurich, Berlin is rather cheap, especially for food and local transport. Hotel prices do rise noticeably during trade fairs, events and in summer.
