Where is the best place to stay in Marrakech?

For the typical atmosphere, a riad in the medina is a good choice, for example in Mouassine or the Kasbah. If you prefer quiet and modern hotels, Guéliz is the better choice.

Is Marrakech expensive?

Compared with Western Europe, food, taxis and accommodation are usually cheaper. Excursions, hotels with pools and upmarket restaurants cost more.
